|
Thank you for your commitment of time and energy and for helping us as we fight breast cancer the best way we know how...TOGETHER!
The 15th Annual Komen Puget Sound Race for the Cure was an amazing success with an estimated 14,500+ participants, 500+ volunteers, and over 1,000 breast cancer survivors joining together for our most memorable Race ever! Our sincere gratitude goes out to everyone who walked, ran, volunteered, or contributed to this great accomplishment.
| Thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Race for the Cure a huge success. We couldn’t have done it without the support of hundreds of volunteers and YOU!! This is always such a wonderful way for the community throughout the Puget Sound and beyond to gather and celebrate family, friends and life. Although we are saddened by the loss of loved ones, we are hopeful for those women currently in treatment and inspired by the thousands of survivors.”
The Puget Sound Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is on a mission to save lives with funds raised from this event going to help the women in our community who need it the most! Seventy-five percent of the net proceeds will be spent on education and early detection programs while twenty-five percent will be invested by National Komen on groundbreaking breast cancer research.
Your part in the 2008 Race for the Cure is an integral part of the solution. We appreciate your participation, your pledges, your time, energy and support in our fight against breast cancer!

Thank You to our Volunteers Thank you to the 500 + volunteers who contributed their time and talents to the 15th Annual Komen Puget Sound Race for the Cure.
For 15 years, Komen Puget Sound has been saving lives of women in our community by providing breast health education, mammograms and other breast cancer screening methods, and services to medically underserved women in Western Washington. Without the support of our many volunteers none of this work would be possible. Thank you to each and every volunteer for your generosity and drive to end breast cancer forever. Our hats are off to you!
